You may want to consider leaving a gift to the Trust in your
will. A gift in a will is known as a legacy or bequest and you can
choose the Trust as one of the beneficiaries. A beneficiary is a
person or organisation that benefits from your will.
You may decide to give a fixed sum amount or a part or
percentage of your estate. It's your choice. If you do choose to
make a gift to the Trust in your will, it is advisable to consult a
solicitor or professional will writer.
It is vital that your will is regularly updated to reflect your
current circumstances - for example if you divorce, move house or
if there has been a death in the family.
To help you make or update your will we have produced a useful
guide which is available to you free of charge. Please note that
this is not a comprehensive guide and we would recommend that you
seek the advice of your solicitor, who can ensure that your will is
legally valid and that your wishes are carried out.
