Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services

The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Directorate provides:

  • Specialist Tier 4 services for the Greater Manchester area (Galaxy House - inpatient unit, Social Development Clinic, Chronic Fatigue Service)
  • District Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services in North Manchester, Central Manchester, South Manchester and Salford
  • A range of targeted services within Manchester and Salford, often provided in partnership with other agencies (16-17 team, Child and Parent Service, children with disabilities, emotional health in schools and Looked After Children Team).
