I trained at St. Mary’s Hospital, Medical School, Paddington qualifying in 1995 and have worked in Paediatrics since 1996. I have trained In Paediatrics at several centres of excellence including Kings College (London), St James Hospital (Leeds), John Radcliffe Hospital (Oxford) and Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital. I have been a community consultant in central Manchester since November 2008 and have had a lead role in setting up the Rapid Response Service for the investigation of sudden, unexpected death in childhood, and have included material in recent police training courses and textbooks. I sit on the Manchester Child death overview panel (CDOP).
