Community Services

Homeless Families Health Visiting Team

The team works with families who are placed into temporary accommodation in Manchester by the local authority; this includes families placed in women's aid refuges.

The team provides a city-wide service and works as part of a wider multi-agency team alongside designated housing workers and midwives. Our aim is to provide intensive support for families at a time of crisis in their lives.

We work with homeless families and pregnant women. The team also provides a service to school age children who are not in school.
