Treatment Room (Central Manchester)

This service in Central Manchester is an extension of the District Nursing Service and provides nursing care to patients who can attend clinic and are registered with a Central Manchester GP.

Abbey Hey Clinic: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. 8.30 am -12.00 pm; Levenshulme Health Centre: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8.30 am -11.30 am; Longsight Health Centre: Monday to Friday 12.30 pm - 3.00 pm; Moss Side Health Centre: Monday to Friday 2.00 pm - 3.00 pm; Chorlton Health Centre: Monday to Friday 8.30 am -11.30 am.

The Treatment Room service is by appointment only.

We accept referrals from all health and social care professionals, patients and carers, as long as they can access the local service and require ongoing nursing for medically stable conditions.

Patient can self refer.

Referrals are accepted by fax or telephone.

Additional Information:

The Treatment room service is appointment only, and operates from Chorlton, Moss Side, Longsight, Abbey Hey, and Levenshulme, at various times of the day and is staffed by a District Nurse team in Central Manchester. Treatment provided includes wound care, leg ulcer care, ongoing IM injections that cannot be self administered and health promotion.
