ORCS Project Overview

ORCS was developed locally in 2004.

It provides an exciting opportunity for health & education to work in partnership with young people (14 to 19 year olds), providing them with an opportunity to learn about when and how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and use an automated external defibrillator (AED).

As a result of budget cuts Manchester City Council/Public Health Manchester has had to stop funding ORCS.  If your school, academy or college is able to fund ORCS workshops, or any type of first aid training for your students, we would be happy to discuss your requirements and provide you with the costs.
