The Chaplaincy - Spiritual Care Department

The Trust has a Multi-faith Chaplaincy-Spiritual Care Team to offer pastoral and spiritual care to all hospital staff, patients and relativies. The department supports all staff in what is a high-pressured and often emotionally challenging enviroment. They are a non-medical, non managerial, safe place to unload, explore issues, laugh and have a cup of coffee. They offer a confidential, non judgemental listening ear to people from all faiths or none.

The Multi-faith centre is located in the entrance to the new MRI. It contains a Multi-faith Prayer room and ablution facilities. All service and prayer times will be displayed on the notice board.  There are also 2 Multi-faith Prayer rooms in the Childrens Hospital.

If you wish to contact a chaplain you can ring 0161 276 8792 or ring switchboard on 276 1234 and ask to page the on-call chaplain. Or click here to visit the Chaplaincy/Spiritual Care Website
