North of England Ophthalmological Society Centenary Meeting

October 2nd - 3rd 2014

Old Trafford

The North of England Ophthalmological Society shares a celebration this year with MREH, in that it is 100 years old. Created in 1914 by a group of Northern ophthalmologists led from MREH, it is one of the oldest regional societies in our specialty. The first President in 1914 was Alexander Hill Griffith, Honorary Surgeon at the Manchester Royal Eye Hospital, and the Society is returning to Manchester this year to celebrate its centenary with a two-day meeting.
