Clinical information

Indications for the test: CCP antibodies are targeted against citrullinated peptides are highly specific to rheumatoid arthritis (RA) but may also be of value in the development of radiographic joint damage.

CCP antibodies are implicated in the early diagnosis of RA and offer a marker that is more specific than Rheumatoid Factor.
