Clinical information

Indications for the test: Peripheral nerve hyperexcitability, neuromyotonia, Morvan's syndrome.

Factors affecting the test: Approx 20% of patients with VGKC antibodies will have an underlying thymoma. Patients may have Myasthenia gravis with or without acetylcholine receptor antibodies.
