The Microscopy Room (see a larger
version)

This Microscopy Room has side benches for 15
Olympus microscopes, with the multi-head microscope in the
centre.
The multi-head microscope capacity can also be lined to a video
camera and a monitor, so that extra students can view the real time
images.

version)

There is also a dedicated lecture area, which can be
separated from the microscopy area by a sound-proofing sliding
panel.
This area also contains a microscope and video camera,
which can be used for large numbers of delegates to view real-time
cytological images on two ceiling-mounted monitors and a
projection screen.
Facilities include a lectern housing a computer with internet
access, video and DVD player and connection for laptops.
There is also a facility to use traditional 35mm slides, all
controlled via an AMX controller.
The Seminar Room, when separated, comfortably accommodates 25
people, but can take maximum of 30.
