Your Information

Patient Experience Standards

During your care with us we commit to ensure that your needs are at the centre of your care.  We respect the fact that you have the right to choose, accept or decline treatment and will ensure that you have appropriate information and support to enable you to make informed decisions.  At any point during your care you can choose to have a second opinion.  If you wish to gain a second opinion you should discuss this request with your GP or Consultant.

Information for patients with learning disabilities

If you are a patient with a learning disability, or their carer, you may need to access patient information in a more accessible format.

Accessible leaflets provide information in a way that people with learning disabilities, and children, can understand even though they find reading hard. Accessible leaflets have written information with easy words and use visual things like videos and pictures that match them.

Please visit http://www.easyhealth.org.uk/ for a detailed range of information leaflets on many health topics.

Should you require further information, please contact the Manchester Learning Disability Partnership.
