‘Experience of Care Week’ 20th - 24th March

patient experienceLook out for the wide range of staff and patient activities and engagement which will be taking place during our 'Experience of Care Week' across all our hospitals. The focus will be on 'What Matters to Me' and plans are based around the six core themes:

  • Monday 20th: Positive Communication - sharing patient stories & lessons learnt; how the PALS, Interpretation and Volunteer Services support patients and carers.
  • Tuesday 21st: Environment - patient dining; Change 1 Thing campaign: Gynaecology Health and Well Being Event; MREH patient and carers experience group.
  • Wednesday 22nd: Staff Wellbeing and Leadership - focusing on the Staff Survey and promoting the Pulse Check, plus advice about staff support services.
  • Thursday 23rd: Professional Excellence - why feedback such as the Friends & Family Test is important and using it to improve our services.
  • Friday 24th: Organisational Culture - living the CMFT values to achieve excellent patient experience, plus an Alzheimer's Society event.
