A&E reaches top three in UK for quality
emergency team made it into the UK top three for 24/7 Quality in
Emergency Care at the recent CHKS Top Hospitals Awards.

Performance (pictured left) travelled to the Guildhall in London to
celebrate their achievements on behalf of the team and to share
their good practice through the network of Top 40 Hospitals.
CHKS Top Hospital Awards celebrates healthcare quality and
improvement achievements of all Hospitals across England, Wales and
Northern Ireland. Extensive analysis of UK data included
average waiting times, % of patients treated within four hours,
rate of A&E investigations and % of A&E attendances with a
meaningful diagnosis recorded. To complement the data the
team were asked to present the 24/7 quality innovation improvements
to a panel of CHKS judges.
