The British Heart Foundation (BHF) has teamed up with Manchester
City Football Club to invite the women of Manchester to the
'City. Heart. Walk' on March 30th - Mother's Day.
Women of all ages and abilities are being invited to take part
in one of three walking challenges around the Etihad stadium,
before watching Manchester City's Women take on Aston Villa as part
of a fun day out.
With activity stations, pamper sessions, a kids zone and some
famous faces to cheer you on, it's the perfect way to spend
Mother's Day at the same time as doing something beneficial for
Your heart needs a regular workout to stay healthy. Brisk
walking for at least 150 minutes a week can help reduce your risk
of heart disease, stroke and diabetes as well as help you manage
your weight and feel less stressed. It's also a great way to spend
time with friends and family.
