Closure of Oxford Road 4th-9th January

From Wednesday 4th January through to early morning on Monday 9th January, road closures will come into effect along Oxford Road to enable resurfacing to take place between Booth Street and Sidney Street.

To enable this work to take place, a full closure of Oxford Road will take place between Booth Street and Charles Street, with local access only to Brancaster Road for drivers travelling south on Oxford Road from Charles Street.  Grosvenor Street will also be closed at its junction with Oxford Road. This is necessary to ensure that the work can be carried out safely and efficiently. The road will reopen on Monday morning 9th January.

Diversion signs will be in place advising road users and cyclists of alternate routes to use during the work.  Pedestrian access will not be affected.
