Everything came up roses at the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital when the Northern Rose Dance Company and Anna Christie School of Dance dropped in to spread a little seasonal cheer. The Bolton-based school performed several dances and songs including Christmas carols and pop tunes before getting in the festive mood with our young patients at their annual Christmas party.

Manager, Susan Fairclough said: "The school have visited the
hospital before and performed beautifully and we were delighted
when they agreed to return at Christmas as it gives a much needed
boost to our young patients and their families."
Founder Elizabeth Collier added: "It's lovely to see children and young people performing for other children and their families with such openness and joy! Several of the Anna Christie School of Dance and Northern Rose company performers have been and are still patients at RMCH and it's great that they are back dancing."
The performance is just part of the packed Christmas programme at RMCH which has seen visits by Manchester City Football Club, Eventbooths, Salford City Reds, the Royal Air Force, Welephant, Lancashire County Cricket Club and several schools.
