Healthier Together - Still Time to Have Your Say

Healthier togetherGreater Manchester residents, as well as people in neighbouring areas are being encouraged to complete their NHS questionnaire as the Healthier Together consultation draws to a close. Healthier Together is asking for people's views on GP and primary care services, joining up NHS and local authority care as well as proposed changes to some hospital services.

Events are going on all over Greater Manchester and in neighbouring areas up until the end of September. People can attend public listening events and Question Time style debates across Greater Manchester, as well as other activities - see the Healthier Together website for full details. https://healthiertogethergm.nhs.uk/events/events-calendar/

In the next couple of weeks, everyone will be reminded about the importance of the consultation through leaflets and other publicity, and to allow people plenty of time to complete the questionnaire responses will be accepted in the first weeks of October, up to the 24th October (5.00 pm).

Leila Williams, Director of Service Transformation for NHS Commissioners in Greater Manchester said "As we are running consultation events and activities, and reminding people about this really important consultation, right up until 30 September it seems right that we give as many people as possible the opportunity to give us their views. No decisions have yet been made, and we will listen to what people say to us.

These are the biggest potential changes to the NHS in a generation, so if you haven't had your say yet, now is the time!"

To have your say on the proposed changes, you can complete the Healthier Together consultation questionnaire here: https://healthiertogethergm.nhs.uk/feedback/
