Kids' Hospital at Christmas nominated for Royal Television Society Award

The Kids' Hospital at Christmas, the documentary featuring Royal Manchester Children's Hospital over the festive season, has been nominated for a Royal Television Society Award for Best Factual Series.

The winners will be announced tomorrow at a glittering awards ceremony, which will see our documentary fight competition from BBC Religion shows 'The Chaplains' and 'Sacred Rivers'.

The documentary, filmed during the run up to Christmas 2013 follows patients at the Hospital who are facing the prospect of Christmas on the ward.

You can catch up with the children featured next month, as the documentary makers revisit the patients and find out how they're all getting on in a special Christmas broadcast.
