Manchester Royal Eye Hospital Ophthalmic Nursing Conference today

It's one year since Manchester Royal Eye Hospital's Bicentenary, when the Hospital gave the public an exclusive behind the scenes tour. Visitors were given the opportunity to epxlore the operating theatres, learn more about the various conditions that the Hospital treats and how they do it, and meet some of our fantastic staff.

To celebrate our 201st anniversary, the ophthalmic nursing team are hosting a specialist nursing conference today at Manchester Conference Centre.

The conference is led almost entirely by Manchester Royal Eye Hospital staff, alongside special keynote speakers Mary Shaw and Professor Janet Marsden.

The presentations will be available following the conference, for those who want to know more about advanced nursing practice, macular service development and patient experience at one of Europe's largest teaching Eye Hospitals.
