Manchester Royal Eye Hospital Specialist receives national award

Darren Hargreaves, Ophthalmic imaging specialist at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital has been highly commended this month at the annual Topcon Ophthalmic Imaging Association Conference.

The highly commended award was given in the Anterior Segment Photography category, in particular for his work with a slit lamp image.

A slit lamp is an instrument of high-intensity light source that is used in conjunction with a biomicroscope to examine the eye for a variety of conditions.

Darren said:

"This award shows that the Manchester Royal Eye Hospital and its Clinical Imaging department, is at the top of its game in Ophthalmic photography."
