National Eye Health Week

For the third year running the CMFT Community Orthoptists are taking part in National Eye Health Week (17-23 Sept 2012). They will be setting up their stall in Sainsbury's Store in Heaton Park on Wed 19th September 2012, 10am -3.30pm.

They will dispel all old wives tales regarding children's eyes. There will be a 'did you know ...' display with interesting information about children's eyes. There will be a variety of vision tests and other equipment on show that are used to test children's and babies eyes.  The Orthoptists will be on hand to answer any questions regarding children's eyes.

The team will also be joined by the Optometrists from the Manchester Royal Eye (who will answer questions on glasses and vision), Henshaws Society for the Blind and the Guide Dog Society for the Blindwho may even bring along a four legged friend.

Pop in and see them!
