our wards and departments, as well as our Staff Benefits
Coordinator, a representative from the Royal College of Nursing and
one of our Practice Education Facilitators who will be talking
about development opportunities.

There are numerous benefits to working at RMCH. Because we value
our staff and their contribution every day, we recognise the need
to provide on-going support. We achieve this by starting your
employment with a two week generic induction to all new staff
followed by up to a four week supernumerary period which provides
cohort support through the induction period. In addition to a
mentor for all newly qualified nurses, we offer a buddy to all new
staff. We use a structured competency based framework and aim to
support staff through IV training within six months and mentorship
within 18 months of qualifying.
Drop in to our Recruitment Café and enjoy a brew and cake whilst
hearing about the amazing new job opportunities at RMCH.
