Prepared to Care? Survey
Every day 6,000 people take on new caring responsibilities in
the UK. Without the right support, advice and information caring
can impact on your relationships, finances, career and health and
well-being. This Carers Week are exploring how Prepared to Care? we
are in the UK and asking carers what would make a real difference
to their lives.
The Carers Week partners have asked carers to share their
experiences of being carers and the impact it has had on their
lives. The findings of this survey will be incorporated into a
report that will be published to announce the start of Carers Week
2013 and identify recommendations that the campaign will focus on
in 2014 and 2015.
To share your experiences by clicking here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/CarersWeek2013
. Survey is open until 3rd May.
Hearing directly from carers the challenges they face while
caring is a vital part of Carers Week. The Carers Week partners
work with a wide range of carers who help to highlight the highs
and lows of caring in a range of ways. If you are a carer and would
like to share your story with the media, write a blog or short
article or get involved in campaigning.
Carers Week is delivered by a partnership of charities: Age UK,
Carers Trust, Carers UK, Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie
Cancer Care, MS Society and Parkinson's UK. It is supported by
Independent Age, the Stroke Association and Carewell. It is
sponsored by Sainsbury's plc and Skills for Care. To find out more
