Support our charity at the Great Manchester Run this weekend!

This weekend, Royal Manchester Children's Hospital Charity will be joining in the Great Weekend of Running at the Bupa Junior and Mini Run on Saturday and the Great Manchester Run on Sunday.

This year, is a special one for us because we are the nominated charity at both events with over 1,600 runners taking part for us across the two days, which is a record number!

Our mascot, Humphrey the Bear, along with some of our patients and staff, will also be making an appearance on the BBC coverage on Sunday which is going out from 10am-2pm, so keep an eye out and press record on those Sky boxes!

Here is a clip of Humphrey training for the run himself https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kUXgJbECkgk.

If you're going along to either event please show your support to the Charity by cheering along everyone in one of our bright green T-shirts.

You're also more than welcome to join us on our double decker cheering bus at the Great Manchester Run on Sunday where will have a steel band playing - directions are attached.

We also have a stall in the Charity Village at both events, so please do come and see us there too - we are at stall six in Manchester Central at the Great Manchester Run on Sunday.

If you're involved in either event over the weekend, good luck and enjoy it - we are really excited about our biggest Great Weekend of Running yet and we hope you are too!
