Trainee orthodontist gets the gold

Trainee Dental surgeons from the University Dental Hospital of Manchester obtained good results all round following the MOrth exams at the Royal College of Surgeons last week.

Trainees Farooq Ahmed, Charlie Tams, Pei Ying Oh and See Chong all successfully attained M.Orth RCS.

Farooq went on to be awarded a gold medal for best overall performance, which included his presentation on patient case studies from the Dental School.

David Waring, Clinical Lead for Orthodontics at the University Dental Hospital of Manchester said:

"This is a great result for our team. Being presented with a gold medal is a very high achievement, and represents our good clinical outcomes as well as the quality of our training programme. Well done to all our trainees on this result."
