United stars AND Father Christmas pay the Children's Hospital a visit

On Monday afternoon, our patients received a big surprise when players from Manchester United called in to help spread some festive cheer.

As well as chatting to our patients on the wards the players handed out presents whilst mascot Fred the Red headed to outpatients to hand out some more goodies.

Then the RAF kindly brought Father Christmas to visit our patients yesterday - he donated over £1,500!

Father Christmas handed out gifts before flying by the hospital in a helicopter to wave goodbye!
