kids hospitalWhen a child is in hospital, hurt or ill it's one of the most challenging and difficult times of a parent's life. Based at the Children's Hospital, Your Child In Their Hands follows parents as they witness their child's pain and come to terms with life changing diagnosis.

In this episode eight month old Callum is Phil and Ellie's fifth child. In less than 24 hours he'll go undergo a six hour operation.

Anna's son Jasper is blind in one eye and could lose his sight completely due to rheumatoid arthritis which is not only damaging his joints but is also causing his eyes to swell and the lens to cloud over.

Daddy's girl Lucy has been hit by a car. It's touch and go if she will survive and if she does damage to her brain might have caused irreversible damage.

In the busy Outpatients Department Lilly is in for a preop check. She has a growth at the base of her spine. There's a 50/50 chance it's cancerous. The operation is so rare that the hospital perform it only four times a year.
