MAHSC is a partnership between the Central Manchester and Manchester Children's University Hospitals NHS Trust, the University of Manchester, and five other NHS organisations across Greater Manchester. Linda is currently the Director for the Biomedical Sector of the Northwest Development Agency, a position she has held since 2000. In that role, she has direct responsibility for the support and growth of the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and healthcare industry sectors to enable economic development in the region. She is also Head of Bionow, recognised as an example of best practice by the Government.
