Sale Grammar School pupils spread the Christmas cheer

Pupils from Sale Grammar School took part in a festive carol concert at the Manchester Royal Eye Hospital on Wednesday 15th December.

The concert, which was performed by 30 students, took place in the impressive Eye Hospital atrium. The new Eye Hospital opened as part of the New Hospitals Development in August of last year, and in the ground floor of the new two-storey hospital, the main reception area incorporates everything needed for outpatient visits including 24 examination rooms, five laser treatment rooms and two ultrasound rooms.

The atrium also boasts an impressive mural, recalling the well-known image of an ophthalmic eye test chart. The pupils are due to perform a selection of festive numbers in front of the Hospital’s Christmas tree before moving onto another performance at the Children’s Hospital later in the day.
