During the coming months we will see many changes as the current
hospitals develop into a new family of services. Whatever changes
we make one thing will remain the same - our patients will always
be the focus of what we do.
Patients, staff and the public have the opportunity to help
shape the future of their health service and to get involved in
influencing how the services develop. The involvement of patients,
carers and the public in health decision-making is at the heart of
modernisation of the NHS. For Central Manchester and Manchester
Children's University Hospitals NHS Trust to fulfill its potential,
members of the public should take a substantial role in shaping how
our care progresses.
Local Involvement Networks (LINks) offer a new way of supporting
patient and public involvement in both health and social care.
There will be many opportunities for people to get involved in
their local area and influence the services they use and pay
