Hear Charity

The Hear Charity was established in 1998 to support cochlear implants and research into treatment of hearing loss at the University of Manchester. The charity continues to support the Manchester Cochlear Implant Programme to help develop technology and provide rehabilitation for implant users. The charity is specifically involved in research with the Manchester Royal Infirmary which is looking into implantable or partially implantable hearing aids. The Hear Charity supports numerous research projects at the Manchester Cochlear Implant Programme and also provides funding for staff and patient training and education.

By supporting the Hear Charity, you support research and education that contributes to a better understanding of cochlear implants.
