The Hathersage Integrated Contraception, Sexual Health & HIV Service (formerly CASH)

From Friday 1st July 2016 we are no longer commissioned to undertake Smear Tests (Cervical Screenings).

We have been advised to refer all patients back to their GP surgery.

Manchester Centre for Sexual Health and Palatine Contraception and Sexual Health Service have now joined up as one service and is now called The Hathersage Integrated Contraception, Sexual Health & HIV Service.

Our web pages at the moment will remain the same but we will be creating a new web page which will be coming soon.

Our opening and locations times will stay the same so that you can still access both our services.

The Palatine Contraception & Sexual Health Service (CASH) provides high quality, open access, walk-in Contraception and Sexual Health services to men and women of all ages across six sites in Manchester.

The Palatine Contraception & Sexual Health Service (CASH) is Consultant led and provides high quality, open access, walk-in Contraception & Sexual Health services to men and women of all ages across six sites in Manchester.

We also provide specialised services including: Services for young people aged under 25 (FRESH), sexually transmitted infection management, outreach (clinical and non-clinical) for vulnerable groups, psychosexual counselling, and other reproductive health clinics e.g. colposcopy and menopause.

The service also provides easily accessible clinical advice and support to a range of professionals e.g. GPs, practice nurses, pharmacists and other CASH services within Greater Manchester.

The CASH Service Headquarters at the Hathersage Centre co-ordinates post graduate training for health professionals from across the North West.

Exciting changes are happening to our service at The Hathersage Centre. We are hoping to improve the service we provide by streamlining the way we do things. We will be using a shared IT system and using the building and clinical rooms in a better way. There will be 3 walk in sessions per day: 8am, 12pm and 3.30pm If you have a booked appointment please go to reception We appreciate your understanding during this time as waiting times may be increased
