In our Colposcopy Clinic we see women who have had abnormal
cervical smears (borderline, mild, moderate and severe
dyskaryosis) and provide treatment for pre-cancerous problems of
the cervix and vulva where necessary. These problems are diagnosed
and treated in the colposcopy clinic.

doctor or nurse specialising in colposcopy. The colposcopy

magnifies the cervix or vulva. Biopsies (small samples of
tissue) are often taken which aid diagnosis.
