Our maternity unit
has eight en-suite delivery rooms in addition to a purpose-built
unit led by Midwives. For women with high risk pregnancies, there
are two specifically designed rooms on the Delivery Unit.
The wards are spacious, with increased en-suite facilities, single rooms and four-bedded bays. All out-patient clinics are also situated on the ground floor to allow easy access.
Saint Mary's neonatal services offer a very specialist services for very sick preterm and term newborn infants who need complex intensive medical and surgical care.
Our Newborn Intensive Care facility is a high-tech environment which enables the delivery of quality care with a patient focus and within a parent centred environment. The unit provides more cots in an improved setting enabling staff to optimise care of the sick newborn infant.
