Visiting

We encourage you to visit your baby as often as you can, and we encourage you to take part in your baby's cares. Parents can visit at any time and spend time with your baby.

Other relatives and visitors can come and see your baby whilst on the NICU, however they must be with you or they will not be allowed onto the unit.  We ask that you respect other babies and their families by not looking at other babies in the incubators.  We ask all visitors (apart from parents) to leave by 10.00 pm.

We ask that there are only 2 visitors at the cot side (one parent, one visitor) as the rooms can get very busy.  There is a waiting area for visitors to wait so that they are not blocking the corridors.

No children under 16 can visit unless they are your baby's brother(s) or sister(s).
