There is now a brand new coffee shop in the main atrium of the new Saint Mary's Hospital selling a selection of sandwiches and snacks, as well as hot and cold drinks.
A variety of cold sandwiches, fruit etc can be bought from local shops around the corner. The opening times are 07.00 23.00.

The art gallery is found opposite the Manchester Royal Infirmary on Oxford Road; turn right at the bottom of Hathersage Road on to Oxford Road and approximately 230 metres (250 yards) on your left hand side.
Admission to the gallery is FREE. It has disabled access for people in wheelchairs and there is also a Coffee Shop inside that sells anything from a breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea at reasonable prices.
The opening times are: Monday to Saturday 10.00 -17.00 and Sunday 14.00 - 17.00.
Rusholme is very well known as 'the Curry Mile'. There are approximately 80 restaurants and takeaways along this road. Some of the restaurants offer a lunch time menu, which is slightly cheaper than the evening menu but all at reasonable prices. Turn left at the bottom of Hathersage Road, onto Oxford Road continuing onto Wilmslow Road approximately 550 metres (600 yards) is the first restaurant.
Manchester is very well known for China Town. It is renowned for its excellent Chinese, South East Asian and Thai Restaurants. There are approximately 50 restaurants in the area alone. Again some of them offer a lunch time menu, which is slightly cheaper than the evening menu but all at reasonable prices.
Turn right at the bottom of Hathersage Road onto Oxford Road, approximately 1½ miles, turn right onto Portland Street approximately 550 metres (600 yards), then left onto Reyner Street. There are car parking facilities in and around the area.
