The Minor Injuries Unit is staffed by experienced Emergency Nurse Practitioners who can assess and treat a wide range of minor injuries, including broken limbs, simple wounds, bites, abscesses, and foreign bodies in the nose or ear.
Waiting times are much shorter than the Emergency Department and patients can usually be seen and treated in about an hour.
