There are pick-up and drop-off areas in the front of the hospital's Main Entrance, A&E / Outpatients Department, Seymour Unit, Ward 1, Day Surgery / Path Lab, Physiotherapy and the former Greater Manchester Surgical Centre.
The route from the disabled car-parking areas has improved lighting, safe access across roads via zebra crossings and dropped kerbs, where appropriate. Each disabled car parking area is clearly marked with signage that meets current recognised criteria. Assistance is available in each public car park.
Wheelchairs are available at entrances to the A&E, Outpatients Department and Clock Tower Entrance.
If you have any special requirements such as help with visual impairment, hearing, language or communication matters, please ask a member of staff for assistance or contact the Patient Advice & Liaison Service (PALS) on 0161 746 2019 or trafford.pals@cmft.nhs.uk. You can also contact the Trust by minicom on 0161 746 2243. Sign Language Interpreters and Lip Speakers may also be available by prior arrangement.
