Audiology (Adults)

The Adult Audiology department has a team of audiologists and support staff who are all based at Trafford General Hospital. Satellite clinics are run regularly at Altrincham Hospital and Chapel Road Clinic.

Making an appointment

The adult audiology service accepts referrals from GPs, ENT surgeons, or other health professionals. Any existing NHS hearing-aid wearer can also self-refer for reassessment to the Audiology service.

Our clinics are run at:

  • Chapel Road Clinic, Sale

All clinics are by appointment only, so please check before attending. A home visit service for the housebound is provided at the discretion of the patient's GP.

Hearing-aid batteries are available to collect in person from Trafford General Hospital, Altrincham Hospital, Chapel Road Clinic and Partington Health Centre. You can also have them posted to you from Trafford General Hospital; please enclose a SAE.
